How Do You Use Peppermint Oil For Back Pain?

As I mentioned above, peppermint oil has analgesic properties which means it is a natural pain reliever.

The best way to use peppermint essential oil is to massage it in.  You can create a massage oil by combining two or three drops of peppermint essential oil with about 10 mL of a carrier oil of your choice.  Almond oil has always been my go-to carrier oil.

Make sure your hands (or whoever is massaging the affected area) are warm and gently massage away the pain.

Some people notice relief within minutes.  Other people, like myself, notice pain relief in about 20 minutes.   I guess it's just different for everyone.

This is kind of a tough one to answer.  There are many different types of back pain and essential oils are only the most effective when treating muscle and joint pain.

I've tried narrowing it down to one option but I just couldn't.

In my opinion, the two best essential oils for back pain are lavender and eucalyptus oils.

I'm sure many people will have a different opinion and that's totally okay.  The best thing you can do for your back pain when it comes to essential oils is to find which one works the best for you and stick to it.
